Ingredients
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) - 2 medium size
Green chili - 2 medium
Garlic, fresh - 2 cloves
Cilantro, fresh - 1 bunch (50g)
Lime juice - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Salt to taste
Sugar (optional) - 1/4 tsp
Water as needed
Method
- I have used frozen amla in this recipe. Defrost, remove the seed and chop
- Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend.
- Adjust salt to taste.
- Store in refrigerator and serve chilled.
- Chutney goes well as with snacks, or as a side with regular Indian thali (Indian platter).
