Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe

Craving a delicious homemade pizza? This recipe makes it easy to create your own pizza dough from scratch, right in your bread machine. With a few simple ingredients and a little time, you can have a fresh, customizable pizza ready to enjoy.

Basic Ingredients:

2/3 cup water
4 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups bread flour
1-1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast or Fleischmann's® RapidRise® Instant Yeast
1 tablespoon cornmeal

Instructions:

Add ingredients to bread machine: Combine the water, oil, salt, bread flour, and yeast in your bread machine pan in the order suggested by your manufacturer's manual.

Start the dough cycle: Select the dough/manual cycle on your bread machine. Let the machine knead and rise the dough until the cycle is complete.

Shape and prepare the dough: Remove the dough from the machine and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Knead it briefly if necessary to make it easy to handle. Grease a pizza pan and sprinkle it with cornmeal. Roll out the dough and place it in the pan, or pat it out to your desired shape and thickness.

Top with your favorite ingredients: Add your favorite pizza toppings, such as sauce, cooked meat, cheese, vegetables, and spices.

Bake the pizza: Bake the pizza at 425°F (220°C) for 15-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Tips and Variations:

Adjust the dough size:
For a larger pizza, use the 1-1/2 pound recipe, which includes 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of oil, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 3 cups of bread flour, 2 teaspoons of yeast, and 1 tablespoon of cornmeal.

Experiment with different flours: Try using whole wheat flour or a combination of whole wheat and bread flour for a heartier crust.

Add flavor to the dough: Incorporate grated Parmesan cheese and dried basil for a flavorful twist.
Create a taco pizza: Add cornmeal and taco seasoning mix to the dough for a Mexican-inspired flavor.

Enjoy making your own delicious homemade pizza!

Rice Kheer in Rice Cooker

Till now, I have been using rice cooker for just cooking rice. Recently I learnt that one cook toor daal (lentil soup), daal makhani and rice kheer. Since, dessert is my weakness, I thought I should start with rice kheer. Ingredients Rice - 1/2 cup Whole milk - 1.5 cups + more Raisins - 1/4 cup Sugar - 1/2 cup Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp Ghee (clarified butter oil) - 1/2 tsp Method Rinse rice with water. Drain excess water and put rice in the slow cooker.  Pour all the milk and turn on the rice cooker and cover the lid.  It is important to stir kheer from to time to time. Add sugar. You may need to add more milk as the milk concentrates before the rice is cooked.  Once the rice cooked in milk turn off the switch. Heat ghee in a laddle. When hot add the raisins and cook on low heat till raising loook golden and pour the mixture in the kheer. Sprinkle the cardamom powder and serve cold or warm
