Blueberry - Banana Sooji Halwa

 

This blueberry - banana halwa tastes like ice-cream !!! I absolutely love this combo and it is a must try. 



Ingredient:

1 cup semolina (sooji or rawa)

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberry

1/2 large banana 

2 cups water

1/2 cup ghee 

1-2 tbsp crushed pistachios for garnishing

Method

  1. Puree banana and mash blueberries with the back of the spoon
  2. Mix water, sugar, pureed banana and mashed blueberries and put it aside
  3. Roast semolina in ghee until it smells nutty
  4. Add the water mix and cook until sooji swells and the mixture starts coming together.
  5. At this point you can add more ghee to give rich flavor 
  6. Garnish with pistachios
